Workshop on Dam Safety Reviews

Full-day interactive workshop, with presentations and case study

This workshop presents the concepts and process developed in the Canadian Dam Association's recently completed Technical Bulletin on Dam Safety Reviews. A case study is a key component of the workshop, and delegates will work through how to scope a dam safety review, how to work through the hazard-failure mode-control aspect of the safety analysis, and how to present the findings of a dam safety review.

A copy of the Dam Safety Reviews Technical Bulletin, workshop binder, continental breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks are included in the cost of the workshop.

The workshop is aimed at dam owners, consultants and regulators who want to know what the Canadian Dam Association considers to be good practice for dam safety reviews.
This workshop will be presented solely in English.

Price: $365 for CDA Members; $395 for non-members.

Toronto Session: CDA appreciates the support of the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, the Ontario Waterpower Association, and Ontario Power Generation for this event.

More events are added all the time, so please review the Events List regularly.
